Hilderstone College is a non-profit language centre specialising in English language teaching and teacher training. The College is in Broadstairs, a small seaside town in south-east England. Since 1970 Hilderstone has established an outstanding reputation for running top quality courses for adult students and teachers from all over the world. We work closely with universities, companies and government agencies in the UK and worldwide. We also run courses for teenage school groups (students aged 14-16).

Established in 1970, Hilderstone College offers quality English language courses for adults, teachers of English and CLIL. It is located in Broadstairs, a lovely seaside town in south-east England.

Hilderstone College is a non-profit state English language college with over 40 years experience. We offer a wide range of high-quality English language courses for adult learners (minimum age 17 for individuals, 16 for groups) and for teachers of English or CLIL.

The College is accredited by the British Council and the Independent Schools Inspectorate, a member of English UK and a Highly Trusted Sponsor for the UKBA. Our goal is to help students reach their full potential fast and effectively and our staff are dedicated to ensuring that students have an enjoyable and valuable stay.

We have well-equipped classrooms and free Wi-Fi throughout the College. Our multimedia Learning Centre has all the study materials you will need for your stay, a state of the art digital listening centre and free internet access.

Hilderstone College is located in the centre of the beautiful seaside town of Broadstairs with its golden sandy beaches, interesting shops and architecture, and wide range of restaurants and cafes. Broadstairs is easily accessible from all London airports as well as Ashford and Ebbsfleet International Stations and the port of Dover. We are 20 minutes from Canterbury, 1 hour 20 minutes from London, and 2 hours from Paris by train.

We offer single-room homestay accommodation within walking distance of the College. We also organise a varied social programme of evening and weekend activities and trips to places including: London, Oxford, Cambridge and Canterbury.
